foodpanda launches effortless 24/7 instant delivery for all users

Now available as a C2C service, pandago builds on foodpanda’s efforts to offer convenient, reliable and affordable on-demand delivery service

Singapore, 1 August 2022 – foodpanda users can now enjoy greater convenience when it comes to parcel deliveries with the availability of its on-demand service – pandago. It allows all users to rely on foodpanda’s rider fleet for small instant deliveries around the clock, at wallet-friendly prices. Singapore is the first market to launch the service to consumers, following the prior launch of pandago for business in 2020.

With pandago, users can easily request for a foodpanda rider to deliver their items by updating their foodpanda app to the latest version and clicking on the “pandago” tile . The on-demand delivery service offers an easy solution for time-sensitive deliveries, fulfilling users’ deliveries in under 60 minutes. This makes it particularly convenient for users who want to deliver urgently needed items, such as perishables and essential documents, even in the wee hours. The round-the-clock availability of pandago also makes it a useful service for surprise gift deliveries at any time of the day, even at midnight. Customers will also be able to easily track their deliveries with a real-time tracking function that provides updates on delivery status.

pandago was initially launched in September 2020 as a logistics-as-a-service (LaaS) solution for businesses, including small and medium enterprises, that are looking for a fuss-free on-demand delivery service. With no onboarding fee or commission fees, pandago allows businesses to better manage their delivery costs by spending only when they need it. The expansion of the feature to customers is part of foodpanda’s efforts to strengthen its logistics infrastructure, following a recent partnership with logistics service provider J&T Express to offer next-day deliveries for foodpanda shops.

The availability of pandago to all users means customers can now make use of the effortless and reliable on-demand delivery service at any time of the day. Delivery fees start at a base fee, with additional per kilometer distance-based fees. Vijesh Yoganathan, Head of pandago at foodpanda Singapore, says, “Delivery is so central to people’s lives now – beyond ordering from our thousands of restaurant and merchant partners, we understand that there are instances where people want to deliver other things, including urgent items like medications or documents. With pandago, customers can now rely on our extensive fleet of riders at any time of the day to deliver their parcels at attractive prices, in under 60 minutes.”
